The training module “Privacy Consciousness in Children” was prepared by revising the "privacy training" module, which was prepared by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services in order to provide all children with the ability to protect their own private space in social life and to draw healthy lines between themselves and their environment by respecting the privacy of other people.
Re-work was carried out by the experts of the Ministry upon the trainings that could not be performed face-to-face due to coronavirus pandemic by using distance learning platforms. The module was revised by considering feedbacks of the workers in the field and needs. In this regard, the training module “Privacy Consciousness in Children” was prepared for families, all employees working in the field of child services and contacting with children.
The revised module includes topics such as Privacy, Privacy According to Developmental Periods, Privacy in Infancy, Privacy in Preschool Period, Privacy During Primary Education and Privacy in Adolescence, Digital Privacy along with Approach to the Child Subject to Abuse.
"Privacy Consciousness in Children" Training was Provided for Trainers
Following the revision of the module, “Children's Privacy Awareness" training was delivered for trainers by the Directorate General for Child Services. Members of profession and executives working in the field of child services in institutions affiliated to the Ministry attended the online training.
