Badminton Championship Medals Found Their Owners


7th Türkiye Badminton Championship, organized in cooperation with the Directorate General of Child Services and the Badminton Federation, has come to an end. The championship, which was organized with the participation of children and youth under state protection, lasted for six days.

Athletes participating in the championship, which was held in the spirit of fair play, competed for medals in competitions where exciting moments were experienced.

The pre-qualifications for the championship, which was held for the 7th time, were held in 57 provinces with the participation of a total of 1.157 children, 545 girls and 612 boys, under state protection. 112 girls and 107 boys, selected as a result of the tournaments in the provinces, competed for the medal in the championship held in Ankara.

The championship was held in two separate groups. 112 female athletes in the 1st Group Girls Final Competitions and 107 male athletes in the 2nd Group Men's Final Competitions sweated for the medal.

In the championship held at the facilities of Turkish Badminton Federation, the medals were given to the athletes who ranked high, in the ceremony with the participation of İsmail Ergüneş, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services, Dr. Musa Şahin, Director General of Child Services, Murat Özmekik, the President of the Turkish Badminton Federation, and the relevant managers and employees.
