Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services has introduced yet another novelty into Support for School Project launched within the scope of Social and Economic Support (SED) service. The Ministry is setting up an online counselling line in provincial directorates for the follow-up of children who will receive support within the Project’s scope.
Support for School Project, which was put into effect by the Ministry with the aim of raising awareness in needy families benefiting from SED service and providing children with opportunities for their efficient use of out-of-school time, continues indoors under the supervision of families, paying regard to the measures taken during the pandemic.
Online Counselling Line for Families
The Ministry has put a new service into use in order to increase the efficiency of Support for School Project that is ongoing at homes for children continuing their education via distance learning due to the pandemic. Within this framework, an online counselling line is being set up in provincial directorates for the follow-up of children who will receive support within the Project’s scope.
Pilot Scheme is in Sivas
Online guidance has been initiated in Sivas in the first place. Questions and requests, if any, of children and families benefiting from Support for School Project are received online by experts via WhatsApp counselling line set up by Sivas Provincial Directorate of Family, Labour and Social Services and guidance is provided.
