Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services, watched the Yavuz Bingöl concert held in Etiler Nursing Home on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons with the residents of the nursing home.
Minister Derya Yanık visited older persons in Etiler Nursing Home on the occasion of October 1, International Day of Older Persons, and hosted Artist Yavuz Bingöl with the residents of the nursing home.
Chatting with the residents of the nursing home and having photos taken with them, Bingöl sang the songs; "Sarı Gelin", "Kara Tren", "Turnalara Tutun da Gel" and "Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım".
Bingöl promised to form a choir with the residents of the nursing home and practice every month after the concert.
After the concert, Minister Yanık took the floor and thanked Bingöl, who took the stage in the organization held on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons, and gave a plaque to him.
Expressing her pleasure in being at the nursing home and stating that she tries to come at every opportunity, Minister Yanık said that she liked the idea of the choir.
Minister Yanık said, "I think I will be the most sincere, permanent audience and listener of this choir. So I hope it will be very good."
Nursing home representative Cafer Özalp presented flowers to Minister Yanık, who greeted the residents of the nursing home and distributed carnations.
