Therefore, the Ministry has paid a total of 4.9 billion TL this month."

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that 555.000 citizens benefited from the Home Care Allowance, aiming to provide financial support to citizens with full dependency and their families, and that a total of 4.1 billion liras of allowance was deposited into their accounts this month.

The Ministry of Family and Social Services has prepared a “Services Application Guide” for citizens to access social services and social assistance quickly and accurately. The guidebook describes the application processes and activities carried out in many areas ranging from family and community services to children's services, from social assistance to services for persons with disabilities and older persons.

Since August 2021, 234.588 people have applied for the disability identity card, which the Ministry of Family and Social Services has carried to the e-Government Gateway website to facilitate the life of citizens with disabilities.

With the agreement signed between the Ministry of Family and Social Services and AJet, all martyrs' relatives, veterans and veterans' relatives, public personnel disabilities will be able to fly with a 50 % discount on domestic and TRNC flights and 20 % discount on international flights, while persons with disabilities will be able to fly with a 20 % discount on domestic and TRNC flights and 25 % discount on international flights. Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said, "The Ministry always stood by the families of martyrs and veterans who are entrusted to us by the nation. The Ministry will continue to mobilize all its means."
