Workshop on the Care for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly Legislation Preparation was held between 25.11.2021 and 26.11.2021 by the General Directorate of Services for Persons with Disabilities and Elderly, Department of Private Care Institutions.

Head of Private Care Institutions Department Ömer Faruk BİLGİN, Head of Management Services Department İsa TEKPINAR, Family and Social Services Assistant Expert Doğan Tamer ALAGÖZ and Social Worker Ece ADSON ÖNEY, Deputy Provincial Directors and Branch Managers of Ankara, İzmir, İstanbul, Balıkesir, Mersin and Antalya, representing Provincial Directorates, and representatives of 12 private care centres planned to provide international care services attended.

In the workshop, presentations on world examples in care services were made. In addition, Tarık AKSOY, Head of Department from the Ministry of Commerce, General Directorate of International Service Trade, made a presentation on Incentives for International Care Services for the Persons with Disabilities and Elderly. Afterwards, workshop groups were formed and group work was started under the headings of personnel, remuneration and physical conditions, and the presentations of the workshop groups were shared.
