The Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Türkiye and Uzbekistan on Cooperation in Social Services" was signed
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş held various meetings within the scope of the "1st Social Policy Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Turkic States" hosted by Türkiye for the first time.
In this context, Göktaş met with Mansurbek Olloyorov, Head of the National Agency for Social Protection of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After exchanging views on women, children, family and social policies, Göktaş and Olloyorov signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Social Services" between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After the signing ceremony, Göktaş wished the signing ceremony to be successful and Olloyorov said "may it yield good results".
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to share experiences, knowledge and practical examples and develop joint projects to improve and increase the effectiveness of social services provided to families, women, children, persons with disabilities and older persons.
Minister Göktaş also held bilateral meetings with Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan and Gulnara Baatyrova, Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan.
The 1st Social Policy Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Turkic States, hosted for the first time by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, aims to improve cooperation for the protection and strengthening of the family in the countries of the Turkic world.
