The 13th Barrier-Free Living Fair and Awareness Summit will be hosted by the Ministry of Family and Social Services on November 30-December 3. The fair will continue on December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, with events organized with the participation of Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Family and Social Services.
The 13th Barrier-Free Living Fair and Awareness Summit, organized to minimize the barriers to access to healthcare, rehabilitation and professional care for persons with disabilities and older persons and to contribute to their integration into all areas of social life, will be hosted by the Ministry of Family and Social Services on 30 November-3 December at the Istanbul Expo Center.
In addition to the tools and equipment supporting healthcare, rehabilitation and care processes to promote the independent lives of persons with disabilities and older persons, accessible applications will also be introduced at the Barrier-Free Living Fair, which is the only fair in Türkiye and the 6th largest fair in the world.

The fair, which will bring together persons with disabilities and older persons, families and caregivers, manufacturers, providers, CSOs and public institutions with relevant sector stakeholders, aims to raise awareness of current technological products and solutions for persons with disabilities and older persons, as well as the services offered, and to contribute to the development of communication networks.
