Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that they started to deposit a total of 1 billion 867 million TL of Home Care Allowance into accounts this month in order to provide economic support to persons with severe disabilities and their families in need of care.

Minister Derya Yanık, emphasizing that they prioritize family unity in every field while constructing their social service models, said, “Our primary goal is to support persons with disabilities who need care with their families. In this context, we support our citizens who have relatives with severe disabilities who need care and cannot work because they take care of them, with Home Care Allowance, which was started in 2006 with the idea of supporting persons with disabilities alongside their families first.”

Reminding that 3.336 TL is paid monthly per beneficiary within the scope of Home Care Allowance, Minister Yanık said, “We started to deposit a total of 1 billion 867 million TL Home Care Allowance into accounts this month in order to provide economic support to persons with severe disabilities and their families in need of care. This month, 559 thousand of our citizens benefit from Home Care Allowance. In this respect, I would like to emphasize that we will continue to carry out our services for persons with disabilities within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.”
