Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, announced that they started to deposit a total of 2 billion 417 million TL of Home Care Allowance into accounts this month in order to provide economic support to persons with severe disabilities in need of care and their families.

Minister Derya Yanık reminded that with the Home Care Allowance, which was initiated in 2006 with the idea of supporting persons with disabilities primarily along with their families, citizens who have relatives with severe disabilities in need of care and who cannot work because they take care of them are supported.

Minister Yanık stating that the Home Care Allowance was increased from 3.336 TL to 4.336 TL for the January-July 2023 period, said: “This month, we started to deposit a total of 2 billion 417 million TL Home Care Allowance into accounts for persons with disabilities in need of care and their families. This month, 564,000 of our citizens benefit from Home Care Allowance. I wish well to all persons with disabilities As the Ministry, we will continue to develop policies with a rights-based perspective so that persons with disabilities can fully reach their basic rights such as education, health, security and employment.”
