Our Minister Derya Yanık Attended the "Ailemizin Çınarları Festival" in Andırın

Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, stated that they will make separate visits to each of approximately 26 million households within the scope of the National Home Visit Program, and said, "We detect each of them if there is an older person, a person with disabilities, child or violence at home. If it is our ministry's service, we immediately perform it. We will disperse to the whole field with approximately 10 thousand SYDV (Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation) personnel and 5 thousand ASDEP (Family Social Support Program) personnel. We will redo these surveys in each of the households. Thus, we will fulfill the necessity of a social state that goes to our citizens in need.”

Minister Derya Yanık participated in the "Ailemizin Çınarları Festival" organized in Andırın district in cooperation with Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, Andırın Municipality and Mediterranean Kahramanmaraş Associations Federation.

In her speech there, Minister Yanık said that Kahramanmaraş is the city of poets and litterateurs. Indicating that their main goal as the AK Party is to go from door to door and contact every citizen face to face, Yanık stated that they take the service to the citizens' feet within the scope of the social state understanding.

Indicating that during the AK Party rulership, they witnessed more than what was done throughout the history of the Republic, Yanık said:

“Kahramanmaraş is one of the provinces that benefit most from these services. During the AK Party rulership, we carried out truly groundbreaking services under the heading of social services and social assistance, which particularly concerns our Ministry.”

Yanık, explaining that they changed the logic of social service and social assistance, continued her words as follows:

“Our main difference in social services was the transition from demand-oriented to supply-oriented social service. In the past, while citizens were visiting institutions to receive a service, we now go to the citizens. We have now launched the National Household Visiting Programme. Hopefully, our friends will go to each of our 85 million citizens and approximately 26 million households. We will go to their houses. If there is an older person, a person with disabilities, child or violence at home, we detect each of them. If it is our ministry's service, we immediately perform it. But if it is something outside of our services, we immediately direct it to the relevant institution. Within the scope of this program, approximately 10 thousand Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation personnel, 5 thousand ASDEP personnel and a total of 15 thousand personnel will be deployed to the field in the coming days. We will enter all 26 million households. Thus, we will fulfill the social state phenomenon that goes to the citizens in need.”

Within the scope of the program, a janissary band and folk dance show was held, and older persons living in the nursing home gave a mini concert. Visiting the stands in the festival area, Minister Yanık then visited the Mevlana İdris Millet Mansion and chatted with the youth here. Minister Derya Yanık also visited the family of Martyr Infantry Contracted Private Ahmet Bıçakçı.
