Osmaniye Özden Nursing Home Became Champion in Adult Youth Peace Bocce League 2022 Finals


Osmaniye Özden Nursing Home became the champion in the 2022 finals of Adult Youth Peace Bocce League organized by the Directorate General of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly of the Ministry of Family and Social Services in Antalya.

The fifth of the Bocce tournaments, organized by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Directorate General of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly, within the framework of the vision and policy objectives of active and healthy ageing, was held in Antalya.

158 seniors from nursing homes in 23 provinces including Adana, Ağrı, Aksaray, Ankara, Artvin, Bayburt, Bursa, Çorum, Elazığ, Erzincan, Isparta, İzmir, Karabük, Kastamonu, Konya, Muğla, Osmaniye, Sakarya, Samsun, Sivas, Tekirdağ, Yalova, Zonguldak competed in the Adult Youth Peace Bocce League 2022 Finals.

Osmaniye Özden Nursing Home and Muğla Fethiye Municipality Nursing Home were the teams that made it to the finals in the 3-day competitions in which 23 teams participated.

Osmaniye Özden Nursing Home team, beating Muğla Fethiye Municipality Nursing Home 12-11, became the champion in the 2022 finals of Adult Youth Peace Bocce League. Karabük Yücel Nursing Home placed third and Ağrı Nursing Home fourth.

Rıdvan Duran, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Elmas Esra Ceceli, Director General of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly, who participated in the final competition, presented their awards to the athletes who ranked in the championship.
