Memur-Sen Disabled Commission Chairman Erhan ÖZCAN visited the General Manager of Disability and Elderly Services Dr. Orhan KOÇ.

The meeting, which discussed the demands for the disabled, was attended by Erhan ÖZCAN, chairman of the Commission for Disabled Persons from Officer-Sen, as well as deputy chairman Eşref KARAASLAN, Director of Legislation and ARGE Filiz EŞLİ.

Some setbacks were also expressed to implement the problems faced by individuals with disabilities before and after employment, the provision of health board reports, the supply of orthosis-prosthetics, etc. within the framework of the main topics such as the supply of auxiliary equipment, transportation, benefit ing of sports facilities and problems in use of sign language.

Provision of frequently used tools such as prosthetics and orthoses, such as the request for separate reports for each service from disabled people who have a periodical medical board report, which causes disadvantages and that they should be present with specialists from different professional groups such as social work, education, tax, work and social security. All of them were met by the state and the prosthesis purchase time was reduced from 5 to 3 years.

In addition, disabled public servants, quotas and discounts in hajj and umrah organizations coordinated by the Directorate of Religious Affairs, the benefit of the right of green passports regardless of the degrees and levels of the disabled from the public, the employment rates of individuals with intellectual disabilities in the public sector and sign language research centers were among those who were forwarded.

Orhan KOÇ, General Manager of Disability and Elderly Services, evaluated the demands one by one and stressed that many requests are on the agenda of the General Directorate and that the problems are tried to be resolved in contact with the relevant institutions. General Manager KOÇ; Officer Sen raised these demands to meet a certain process, they are open to all kinds of cooperation in this context, said that it would be useful to work together and thanked the delegation for its sensitivity and sensitivity.  

Hulusi Armağan YILDIRIM, Head of The Department of Participation in Social and Economic Life, and MoFSS Expert Lütfiye KARAASLAN were also present at the meeting.
