Dr. Orhan KOÇ, General Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly, Celebrated “Physiotherapy Day on 8th September” of Physiotherapists Who Work at our Institutions


“Physiotherapy Day” on 8th September has been celebrated with the participation of General Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities, Spc. Dr. Orhan KOÇ.

To the programme, in which Coşgun Gürboğa, Deputy Director General of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly was the moderator, held online on 8th September at 14.00, General Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly Spc. Dr. Orhan KOÇ, physiotherapists who work at our public and private institutions attended on 8th September “Physiotherapy Day,” which is celebrated in the world and our country every year.

At the programme, it is stated that physiotherapists, as members of health care team, contribute to protecting and enhancing community health care and provide prevention, treatment/response and rehabilitation services when various factors such as ageing, wounding, illness, disorder, threaten mobility and function of the person.

It is also stated physiotherapists, who work at our care institutions, have significant role in active ageing of our persons with disabilities and elderly; and “Physiotherapy Day on 8th September” of our physiotherapists, who revive the lives of our elderly and become hope, has been celebrated.
