Derya Yanık, Minister of Family and Social Services: “We Deposit a Total of 963 Million TL of Home Care Assistance Payments for Citizens with Disabilities in Need of Care and Their Families”
Minister of Family and Social Services Derya YANIK announced that home care assistance payments made to provide economic support to citizens with disabilities and their families in need of care have started to be deposited into accounts.
Minister YANIK stated that it is one of the primary goals to support individuals with disabilities in need of care with their families, and reminded that within the scope of home care assistance, a monthly payment of 1797 liras and 97 cents is made per beneficiary.
Emphasizing that they implement policies for citizens with disabilities in line with their family-oriented social service vision, Minister of Family and Social Services YANIK said, “We provide care services in institutions to our citizens with disabilities who cannot live on their own and cannot be cared for with their families. We support persons with disabilities living with their families with service models such as day care service and home care assistance. With home care assistance, we also support our citizens who have relatives with severe disabilities who need care and cannot work because they take care of them.
Minister YANIK said that "home care assistance" was provided to 530 thousand citizens who took care of their relatives with disabilities in need of care, and said, "We are depositing a total of 963 million 172 thousand TL Home Care Assistance payments for citizens with disabilities and their families in need of care. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all our citizens with disabilities”.
