Noting that they provided old-age pensions of approximately 836 million TL in March, Minister YANIK stated that they also deposited approximately 653 million TL of sheltered workshops into the accounts of the beneficiaries.

Underlining that they made a payment exceeding 1 billion 489 million TL within the scope of old-age and disability pensions, Minister YANIK said, “We have deposited the old-age pension and disability pensions for March into the accounts. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all our citizens with disabilities and old persons".

Minister YANIK said that services for persons with disabilities and old persons are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.  

Stating that they develop inclusive and regular social assistance programs for persons with disabilities and old persons, Minister YANIK said, "We stand by our citizens with disabilities and old persons in every field such as education, health, economy, social life so that persons with disabilities and old persons can live independently by participating fully and effectively in social life."
