A Cooperation Protocol on Standardization of Hippotherapy and Hippotherapist Training was signed between the Turkish Equestrian Sports Foundation and our General Directorate.

General Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities and Elderly Spc. Dr. Orhan KOÇ and Turkish Equestrian Sports Foundation President Burak KOÇ signed a Cooperation Protocol on Standardization of Hippotherapy and Hippotherapist Training between the Turkish Equestrian Sports Foundation and our General Directorate.

Within the scope of the development and cooperation of the Standardization of Hippotherapy and Hippotherapist Education, children and persons with disabilities who receive care services in the Ministry for the persons with disabilities and children's organizations will be able to benefit from hippotherapy services.

Functional improvement or development of individuals with physical, motor, mental, psychological or sensory disorders and individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, down syndrome, head trauma, stroke, spinal cord paralysis, behavioural disorder and psychiatric diagnosis under the supervision of a hippotherapist with hippotherapy training is intended to be provided.

With this protocol, during the implementation of the project, which includes the activities of bringing the persons with disabilities and children together with hippotherapy, and the implementation of hippotherapy, the fact that Foundation will ensure that the children and the persons with disabilities who are under protection and care in our boarding institutions under the Ministry of Family and Social Services benefit from hippotherapy, and that the beneficiary families receive training on hippotherapy has been adjudicated.
