Derya YANIK, Minister of Family and Social Services: “We Will Pay 964 Million TL in November for Citizens with Disabilities and Their Families in Need of Home Care Assistance”

Derya YANIK, Minister of Family and Social Services, stated that home care assistance payments made in order to provide economic support to citizens with disabilities and their families in need of care have started to be deposited into accounts.

Minister YANIK underlined that they carry out the policies for citizens with disabilities in line with their family-oriented social service vision and said, “Our primary goal is to support our citizens with disabilities who need care with their families. We provide care services in institutions to our citizens with disabilities who cannot sustain their lives on their own and cannot be cared for with their families.  We support persons with disabilities living with their families with service models such as day care and home care assistance. We also support our citizens who have relatives with severe disabilities in need of care at home, and who cannot work because they take care of them.”

Reminding that 1798 TL is paid per beneficiary per month within the scope of home care assistance, Minister of Family and Social Services Derya YANIK said, "With Home Care Assistance, we will pay a total of 964 million TL in November for citizens with disabilities and their families in need of care. Home care assistance payments will be completed by November 20".
