Aile ve Toplum Hizmetleri Genel Müdürlüğü koordinasyonunda, Aile Enstitüsü Genel Müdürlüğünün katkılarıyla ve Nüfus Politikaları Kuruluna üye kurumlarda görev yapan Daire Başkanı ve uzmanların katılımıyla “Nüfus Politikaları Kurulu Bilgilendirme Toplantısı” 5 Mayıs 2025 tarihinde gerçekleştirildi.

Aile ve Toplum Hizmetleri Genel Müdürü Tuncay Cevheroğlu’nun moderasyonunu yaptığı toplantıda, Aile Enstitüsü Genel Müdürümüz Ayşenur Çoban ve Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Özel Eğitim ve Rehberlik Hizmetleri Genel Müdürü Mustafa Otrar da nüfusla ilgili değerlendirmelerde bulundular. 

Toplantıda Aile ve Nüfus Politikaları Daire Başkan Vekili Dr. Fikret Yaman tarafından aile ve demografik yapıdaki değişimler, geçmişten günümüze Türkiye’deki nüfus politikaları ve Nüfus Politikaları Kurulu kapsamında gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar konusunda sunum yapıldı. Nüfus Politikaları Kurulu çalışma grupları, çalışma takvimi, odak grup toplantılarının planlaması ile devam eden toplantı, kurumların nüfus çalışmaları hakkında bilgilendirmeleri ve görüş önerilerinin alınması ile sona erdi.

Bilgilendirme toplantısını müteakiben 12-14 Mayıs 2025 tarihlerinde, Aile Enstitüsü Genel Müdürümüzün moderasyonunu gerçekleştirdiği ve ilgili kamu kurumları temsilcilerinin katıldığı odak grup toplantılarında nüfusa ilişkin atılabilecek adımlar daha detaylı olarak değerlendirildi.

Briefing and Focus Group Meetings of the Population Policies Council Convened

Under the coordination of the Directorate General of Family and Community Services, and with contributions from the Directorate General of the Family Institute, the Briefing Meeting on the Council on Population Policies was held on May 5, 2025, with the participation of department heads and experts from institutions represented in the Council.

The meeting was moderated by Mr. Tuncay Cevheroğlu, Director General of Family and Community Services, during which the Director General of the Family Institute, Ms. Ayşenur Çoban, and the Director General of Special Education and Guidance Services at the Ministry of National Education, Mr. Mustafa Otrar, shared their insights on population-related issues.

During the meeting, Dr. Fikret Yaman, Acting Head of the Department of Family and Population Policies, delivered a presentation on changes in family and demographic structure, the evolution of population policies in Türkiye, and the activities carried out within the framework of the Council on Population Policies. The meeting continued with discussions on the working groups and calendar of the Council, the planning of focus group meetings, and concluded with institutional briefings on population-related efforts and the collection of opinions and suggestions.

Following the briefing meeting, on May 12–14, 2025, a series of focus group meetings were held with the participation of relevant public institution representatives and moderated by the Director General of the Family Institute. These meetings provided a more detailed evaluation of possible steps to be taken regarding population policies.
